I help clinicians thrive, healthcare organizations keep them, and training programs prepare them.

Sustainable healthcare isn't built through organizational change or clinician development alone. It requires both. Clinicians are extensively trained to care for others, yet receive comparatively little education in the psychological skills needed to sustain themselves throughout demanding careers. My work bridges that gap by partnering with clinicians, healthcare organizations, and training programs to build a more sustainable healthcare workforce.

Human Resources Director

Background & Approach

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with more than two decades of experience at the intersection of psychology, healthcare, and professional education. I have spent my career working with clinicians, healthcare organizations, and training programs, and seeing the challenges from all three perspectives has shaped my understanding of what it takes to build sustainable careers and a sustainable healthcare workforce.

My approach is preventative and evidence-informed, addressing the sources of strain before they become burnout, attrition, or crisis, for individual clinicians and the systems in which they work.

I founded the Caring 4 Our Caregivers initiative, serve as President of the Sufi Psychology Association, and am the recipient of a Templeton Foundation research grant. My work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and centers on the psychological skills that help clinicians thrive.
